We received an email from a client recently that we wanted to share with you. During this job we repacked a poorly packed pod in order to limit the amount of damage that may occur during the move. This is not something we do on a regular basis because we usually do all the packing ourselves. In this case, another company did the initial packing, and did it poorly.
How you pack is important. Done correctly minimizes the likelihood of damage and makes for a better moving experience.
Our guys like doing things the right way. When we pack up a moving truck, we pay attention to the details. Packages are grouped together in a way that ensures your belongings are not damaged at the end of the move. As you can read in the email below. Not all movers are that diligent.
Thank you Paul and Johnny. The guys were fantastic. I wish they had been available in California when the Pod was packed was originally packed. It was so poorly done and a real problem. Heavy boxes on top of boxes marked VERY FRAGILE. Everything was pancaked and furniture in pieces. Your guys literally pick up the pieces and repacked everything so that we would have no further damage. It was an art they way they were able to place everything, and all the time be courteous to me, while I hovered over them.
I am glad that we are planning to use your crew again for the final unpack and installation. I know that it will be a smooth transition from the Pod to our new home now.
